Chapel Our principal, Mr. Joel Bahr led our worship this morning. Next Wednesday’s chapel will be led by Mrs. VanZweden and students of the 3rd & 4th grades @ 8:30am. Offerings collected in the month of March will be sent to Lutheran Educational Ministries in honor of National Lutheran Schools Week, March 8 – March 14. Feel free to come and join us at any of our regularly scheduled chapel services. You are also cordially invited to attend worship services here at St. Mark Lutheran @ 8:30 and 11am this Sunday. A Learning Hour for students young and old is held between services beginning @ 9:45am. Come! We love company!!! During the Lenten season, St. Mark will offer worship services each Wednesday @ noon, followed by a luncheon. Services will also be held on Wednesday evenings @ 7:15pm.
Thank you ! to the students of our Kindergarten through Grade 2 for singing at last Sunday’s 8:30am service. May God continue to bless you and others through your gifts.
We look forward to the participation of all our K-8 students when they sing as a choir on Sunday, 3/14, at our National Lutheran Schools Week celebration worship service @ 11am.

Re-enrollment and applications for the 2010/2011 School Year are now being accepted. Re-enrollment information is available from our office. We invite you to drop by and pick it up. You may also re-enroll on FastDirect. Just push the red button where you view your child’s grades/report card. Any questions or concerns may be directed to the office.
Grow & Go! This week’s Bible verse under our school year theme is from Mark 16:15…..He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
Sports Update: We travel to Immanuel-St. James this Thursday, 3/4, for a game @ 4pm. Come on out and catch the action. Go Eagles!!!
Jr. Basketball Games will be played this Friday,3/5, at 6:30pm.

Spring Musical….. Our Spring Musical, “Simon Says (the rockin’ trial of Simon Peter)”, will be presented in May- but, the first practice will be on Wednesday, March 17th after school (3:30 -4:30pm). Mark the date!
FYI….. Sunshine Community Church is having its 2010 Spring Arts and Craft Show in support of Christian Education on Saturday, March 13th, from 9am to 3pm. Sunshine is located @ 3300 East Beltline, Grand Rapids, between 3 and 4 mile roads. Admission is FREE!
WMLHS Business Expo West Michigan Lutheran High School is hosting the 1st Annual Lutheran Business Expo on March 27th here @ St. Mark Lutheran School gym. If you would like to learn more about this event or participate with the Expo, please contact Marty Butler @ 318-8774.
